Darvie Fenison
Senior Pastor
Darvie has served as pastor of East Somerset since summer of 1997 and has been in ministry since June 1976. During that time he has had the privilege to serve in numerous ministries- Pastor, Youth Director and Worship Leader, Missionary to Albania and President of Florida Baptist College and Seminary.
“I am thankful for all that God has done and the privilege to be a part of it. I am even more thrilled for the future at East Somerset as we learn to love Jesus, live for Him and share Him with our world. In the end, all that makes a difference and matters is Jesus.”
Darvie is married to Myra. They have been blessed with Dustin and Danielle Fenison and their four boys, and Devin and Brandon Waddle and their two boys and two girls.
Darvie earned his Doctorate of Theology (ThD) from Florida Baptist College and Seminary in Lakeland, Florida. He enjoys travel, music, flying, spending time with his family, and ministry.
David Moffitt
Worship Pastor
David, originally from North Carolina, moved to Nashville TN after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. He has been in ministry leading worship for over nineteen years.
He is a Dove Award winning song writer for Capitol CMG, and his songs have been recorded by such artists as Natalie Grant, Audio Adrenaline, Travis Cottrell, Soulfire Revolution, Newsong, The Booth Brothers, People of the Earth, and many others. He is also the writer of nineteen musicals for Brentwood-Benson Publishing.
David and his wife Susan live in Hendersonville TN, and have three teenagers -
Grace, Glory, and John David.
Dustin Fenison
Associate Pastor of Ministries
Dustin has served in student ministry since 2004 as the Associate Minister of Students, and then later as Student Pastor, and most recently Associate Pastor of Ministries.
Dustin did his undergraduate studies at The University of Kentucky. In 2013 Dustin earned his Masters degree in Worship Studies from the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Dustin and his wife Danielle have four children; Wyatt, Soren, Judah, & Cohen.
Dustin is also a vocalist, and guitarist for the worship band People of theEarth and a songwriter at Daywind Music Publishing. This ministry has provided a platform for Dustin and many of the musicians from East Somerset to share the good news of Jesus at conferences, camps, and festivals around the world. Dustin is passionate about sharing the love of Christ and seeing people embrace the gospel in their everyday lives.
Dustin loves Jesus, his family, and his church community. He really enjoys building and creating, writing/playing music, reading, UK sports, Apple products, & guitars.
Mike Dunham
Children's Pastor
Mike is from Somerset, Kentucky and is a graduate of Somerset High School. He has earned a Bachelors Degree in Educational Ministries from Campbellsville University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.
As Children's Pastor, Mike's favorite part of his job is dreaming up new creative ways to teach kids the gospel and help them see the beauty of Jesus.
Mike is married to Lauren and they are the proud parents of two handsome young boys Easton and Hudson.
Mike loves his family, checking out Hot Rods, eating burritos, playing drums, & studying God's word.

Tripp Cox
Office Administration
Tripp joined the East Somerset Staff in 2017. He is the Office Administrator for East Somerset and serves as the clerk and financial assistant.
As Office Administrator, Tripp enjoys assisting the ministry staff in fulfilling the mission of the church and being able to interact with the East Somerset church family on a daily basis.
